A bit about the Coachella Valley……….

Only 2 hours from downtown Los Angeles, Palm Springs grew from the sleepy resort destination of movie stars and presidents to become the vibrant, prestigious and romantic destination it is today. Palm Springs is actually situated in the beautiful Coachella Valley and is just one of 7 great cities with a combined year-round population of over 400,000 people. The name "Palm Springs" may evoke thoughts of soft warm breezes, tall palm trees and sparkling swimming pools, but it is also a vibrant and rapidly growing region. The name Palm Springs is used as the all encompassing name which includes the areas of Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells and La Quinta. This initial mystic of Palm Springs has spread to these fabulous cities as well! Each one offers something very special. Today, the main economy of Palm Springs centers on tourism, luxury retail shopping, real estate, health care, gambling and the hospitality industry.
